Connectivity
The Phonak Roger DigiMaster 7000 V2 connects directly to a Phonak Roger SoundField Touchscreen Mic 3, which acts as the main transmitter within the classroom Roger network.
When the teacher wears the Roger SoundField Touchscreen Mic 3, their voice is transmitted wirelessly to the DigiMaster loudspeaker. The speaker then distributes the teacher’s voice evenly across the classroom so that all students can hear clearly, regardless of where they are seated.
Students who use hearing aids or cochlear implants do not connect directly to the DigiMaster loudspeaker. Instead, their hearing devices connect to the Roger SoundField Touchscreen Mic 3 microphone, which is the central transmitter in the system.
This means the same microphone signal can be sent simultaneously to:
• The DigiMaster classroom loudspeaker
• Roger receivers used by students with hearing aids
This allows students with hearing loss to receive the teacher’s voice directly in their hearing devices while the rest of the class hears it through the SoundField speaker system.
To pair hearing aids that are not from the Phonak Marvel, Paradise, Lumity or Infinio platforms, you will require a compatible Roger receiver. You can choose between the Roger X Receiver (Type 02) or the Phonak Roger NeckLoop Receiver (02) depending on your hearing aid compatibility.
Compatibility
The Phonak Roger DigiMaster 7000 V2 is designed to operate as part of the Phonak Roger SoundField classroom system and works with the Phonak Roger SoundField Touchscreen Mic 3 transmitter.
Students using hearing aids can receive the teacher’s voice directly through the Roger microphone when using compatible hearing aids or receivers, including:
• Phonak Marvel hearing aids
• Phonak Paradise hearing aids
• Phonak Lumity hearing aids
• Phonak Life hearing aids
• Phonak Infinio hearing aids
• Phonak Infinio Sphere hearing aids
It can also be used with:
• Any hearing aid that is Telecoil enabled when used alongside the Phonak Roger NeckLoop Receiver (02)
• Any hearing aid compatible with the Phonak Roger X Receiver (Type 02)
This setup allows both the SoundField loudspeaker system and personal hearing devices to receive the same Roger microphone signal at the same time, ensuring the teacher’s voice is clearly heard by all students in the classroom.
